Anita (MSc Zoology, US) has a passion for nature and a heart for conservation. Fieldwork for her postgraduate studies regularly took her to the Cederberg and Tankwa regions to gather data.
She investigated aggregation behaviour in one of the often-seen gecko species in die Cederberg, Bibron’s Gecko, and then went on to evaluate the relevance of the Greater Cederberg Biodiversity Corridor for the long term conservation of reptile diversity in the region. For the past two years she has worked at Homebrew Films as content researcher and production manager on the acclaimed SABC2 series Shoreline. She has a deeply rooted passion and fascination for felines, and her involvement in the CLT Boland project is the realisation of a lifelong dream. |
