Pa Jee has been captured stalking the grounds around Groenefontein – a farm that was bought by Nature Conservation in 1999. One of Gamkaberg’s field rangers, Jan Oransie, affectionately called “Oom Jan” or “Pa Jee” by his colleagues, used to live at Groenefontein and was often “accompanied” by this leopard during his patrols on the reserve.
